Sunday Social: Shopping Edition!

I'm linking up with Neely & Ashley again today for a subject that is right up my alley!

 Shoppppppppping!

I have always loved shopping, and being a plus size girl that can sometimes present a problem. I can't just walk into your everyday boutique and buy something off the rack, so it's a challenge for me to find fashionable outfits that look great! But I'm always up for a challenge, and dressing well has always been super important to me!
This weeks questions are:

1. What is your favorite store to shop at?
I find a lot of "trendy" stuff at Marshall's & TJ Maxx, and occasionally I can score designer plus size clothes at 1/2 of 1/2, I'm all about a bargain! I also get a majority of my clothes a Old Navy, Maurice's, Dillards, Target, and sometimes even
JC Penney.

2. If you could afford anything and everything, which designer brand would you covet?
I love Louis Vuitton, I've been carrying the Neverfull GM for over a year and I never get tired of it. I definitely want to add more bags to my collection!

3. Must-have closet staple?
Some of the things I get the most use out of in my closet are my:
Lagos Pearl Studs
Micheal Kors Watches
Tory Burch Revas
LV Neverfull
Denim Jacket
Maxi Dresses
A good pair of dark wash jeans

4. Favorite kind of shoes?
Tory Burch Revas

5. Best clothing deal you've ever gotten (sale or amazing find)?
I had a friend give me a pair of Tory Burch quilted flats she had worn once because she didn't like the fit! Free TB flats are definitely a score!

6. Style you'd love to try?
I love colored skinnies, I just can't get up the courage to wear them. I haven't found a great fit yet for my body type!

Try the Old Navy Rockstar jeans for colored denim. I'm a curvier gal too and I just love the fit of them. Also, they're not that expensive, but I've gotten every pair I have on sale. I love my TB Reva flats too!

I envy people who can find great deals at places like Marshels and Ross. I get a headache when I have to dig through piles :-( I wish I could do it, I always hear girls finding amazing deals.

I have wanted to try the colored skinny jeans too, but have the same issue finding a flattering pant. I recently read a blog post where the girl took a pair of boot cut jeans, made them into skinnies and then bleached and dyed them the color she wanted. They turned out SO cute! I didn't think to pin it or anything (go figure!) But, you could definitely google search it and try something similar. If you can do it to an old faded pair of jeans or something, it could totally be awesome!

I can never find anything "trendy" at TJMaxx & Marshalls when I go, but I feel like EVERYYYYYONE else I know can! Maybe I just don't have the patience or am going to the wrong one. Haha.

I have very recently (as of like.... a week ago) found a new love for Old Navy. I got three, count 'em THREE, dresses there that I actually liked the way they looked (super tough feat... I'm way too overly self conscious in EVERYTHING lol) at reasonable prices last week!

I need some of my stylish blog ladies to pass your senses onto me!

Love the look of the Tory Burch Revas. I just got a pair 2 weeks ago but haven't worn them out yet as they are really hurting my foot. Guess there is a break-in period and hopefully after that, I will love them like you do. Did you have problem when you first got them?
