Back in Business

Well, since it appears I have taken the month of May off from blogging, I'm ready to get back in business and into a normal routine! 
In my last post I shared some wedding pictures but I want to do a couple more posts and share some more details. It honestly was a perfect day, I wanted a small, simple, southern wedding, and that exactly what I got! The day went smoothly thanks to lots of help from some pretty amazing people. If I could do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing! I'm just glad it's all over, and I get to spend forever with my love :)

Hey y'all...I couldn't stand the thought of going an entire month with you guys hearing from me...so I decided to take a few minutes today and fill you on in where I've been...

Last weekend I got to marry my sweetheart and life has been nothing but crazy for the last month! Thank goodness we made it through the day (which turned out WONDERFUL, if I do say so myself), but can I say I'm so glad it's over? Haha!! Things are finally calming down, and we're settling back into a normal routine, which for me means, BLOGGING :) I've definitely missed it! 
I'm gonna share a few of my favorite pictures from our big day, and I promise I'll be back soon with all the details!

Hey y'all..I didn't think Friday would ever come this week! I'm currently at my office wrapping up some things, then I'm heading to Conway to spend the weekend with family, and see this beautiful couple get married tomorrow!

Look familiar? Amber from {Living in the Moment} is marrying Brad tomorrow and I can't wait to see her walk down the aisle! I know this wedding is going to be out of control gorgeous! 

 

 

 

 No trip to Conway is complete without a little shopping and lot of family! I'm excited to spend the weekend away from home and away from planning for my wedding!

Wedding Nightmares

Hey y'all! As you all can probably gather from the title of this post I'm having a little wedding planning trouble. We're just over a month out from the date, and everything seems to be moving along well in the planning, we just have a few things to finish up and we will be done. 
Enter the problem....I have been having NIGHTMARES...not Jason & Freddy nightmares, but WEDDING Nightmares. Myself, with the help of my very best friends are planning this all by ourselves. Most everything about our special day will be DIY, so why am I freaked out, I'm controlling it all, right? I am not a very "simple" person, I love things BIG and over the top, and quite frankly it's tough to achieve big and over the top on a very minimal budget. I just fear things will end up looking tacky and cheap, and I'm one those people that DOES care what people say about me...lol. 
The theme, if we have to pick a theme would be "Country Chic"...never heard of it? I may or may not have made it up...just go with it. Lots of fresh spring flowers like hydrangeas and peonies, burlap runners, mason jars, galvanized buckets, monograms...you feeling my vision? I KNOW deep down it will turn out beautiful, and be unique, and exactly what I wanted, myself or my friends wouldn't have it any other way. I just need to stop stressing...every time someone asks if I'm ready for the wedding, my response "I'm ready for it to be over with"...granted it might be the truth, I just want to know that everything is in order and that it will be my perfect day. 
So in short, what am I telling you all today...ELOPE, ELOPE, ELOPE...only kidding...well sort of!!
