I wanted to ice skate SO bad but that is just a major touristy time and there are people everywhere. A local person told me to try Bryant Park or Central Park instead of the main ice skating rink in rockefeller center. I also highly recommend doing the Top of the Rock instead of the Empire State Building if you must choose 1. From the top of the rock you can see the empire state building and have a much better view of NYC. We will def be doing it again this trip! A must is also going to Little Italy and Chinatown. The best food we ate was at a little hole in the wall restaurant called 17 Wo Hop in china town. And there was a really good bakery in little italy where we got rainbow cookies and cheesecake :) You must stop and get a NY bagel and eat NY pizza. Grimaldi's under the Brooklyn Bridge is supposed to be one of the best. Carnegie Deli is DELISH!! The BEST cheesecake I've ever eaten. <br />The city bus tours are great if you are on a time frame. We saw so much of the city we would have never seen if we wouldn't have done that. Harlem, SOHO, NYU, the museum district, fashion district, Battery Park, times square, rockefeller center, etc etc etc and you can get on and off as you wish. I'm going to do a blog post about our trip here pretty soon so hopefully you can get some more ideas :)Savanahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17330800382323726076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1655378670139335098.post-46481972699030499232011-10-17T15:12:57.071-05:002011-10-17T15:12:57.071-05:00I visited NYC last summer and on my "must see...I visited NYC last summer and on my "must see" list was Kleinfeld's bridal shop from Say Yes to The Dress. They will let you in the lobby and will let you take a peek in the show room, and if you're lucky you can meet some of the consultants. If you're a fan of the show, I would recommend stopping by!Home on Poplarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08085378977832287259noreply@blogger.com
